How to classify raw materials for induction furnace exercise?

Release date:2019-04-26

中频电炉,透热炉,感应炉

The metal and non-metal raw materials involved in induction furnace exercise are roughly divided into the following six categories.

(1) Pure metal

Pure metals are mainly used to exercise nickel-based, brick-based and iron-free alloys. Such as nickel-based superalloys, nickel-based corrosion-resistant alloys and nickel-based fine alloys.

Commonly used pure metals are nickel, cobalt, chromium, manganese, tungsten, aluminum, titanium, tantalum, silicon, calcium, barium and the like.

(2) Ferroalloy

In order to save energy, reduce costs, and rationally use resources to directly form metal alloys with iron to form an alloy, that is, iron alloys for steelmaking. In addition, the use of ferroalloys also has the advantages of high density, low melting point, easy melting, and high element recovery rate.

Commonly used iron alloys are iron silicon, ferromanganese, ferrochrome, tungsten iron, vanadium iron, ferroniobium, ferrotitanium, boron iron, zirconium iron and the like.

(3) intermediate alloy

Some elements can be added to a binary or multi-alloy application in order to reduce their vapor pressure and add density.

Commonly used intermediate alloys are nickel-magnesium alloy, aluminum-zirconium alloy, aluminum-niobium alloy, boron-aluminum alloy, boron-nickel alloy, silicon-calcium alloy, niobium alloy and the like.

(4) Steel materials

A material that supplements the iron required for the exercise steel and alloy is called a steel material.

Commonly used steel materials are industrial pure iron, steel-making pig iron, foundry pig iron, carbon steel materials, and the like.

(5) Alloy return material

Recyclable materials used in the production of special steels and alloys, such as steel refueling, medium injection pipe, soup road, steel ingot cutting, hot rolling cutting, waste processing semi-finished products, etc., are called return materials. The use of the return material can achieve the purpose of fully recovering the alloying elements and reducing the cost.

(6) slag making materials and refractory materials

The slagging materials include lime, fluorite, silica, glass flakes, and the like.

Refractory materials include refractory materials for ladle masonry and refractory materials for gating systems.
