2) Try to prevent high temperature melting during the smelting process. In the high temperature state, the lining will react with the molten iron, as follows: SiO2 + 2C → Si + 2CO, the higher the temperature, the higher the C, the lower the Si, the erosion of the lining will be intensified, especially in the new furnace. It is obvious, so the temperature is kept as high as possible at the temperature of the water at the time of melting. The outlet temperature is 1 490 °C~1 540 °C, but it is generally controlled at 1 490 °C~1 520 °C during the smelting process. It is worth mentioning that in the effluent After the power is cut off, the heat is kept at a lower temperature. When the water is ready to be discharged, the temperature is raised according to the temperature of the previous water. This can reduce the erosion of the high temperature molten iron on the furnace lining, prolong the service life of the lining, and reduce the power consumption, which is to increase the furnace age and decrease. 3) Prevent the lining from overheating. Because the temperature rise of the intermediate frequency furnace is quite fast, when the smelter does not pay attention, the furnace material is “bridged” and the lining exhibits partial high temperature and even exceeds the refractoriness of the lining. This may cause the lining to melt and erode; perhaps before the furnace When the work is not noticed, when the melting temperature is too high, the lining may be melted and eroded; this will greatly reduce the service life of the lining. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to it during the melting process. For example, the melting machine must be diligent and pre-work.
